Byron A. Rhett
Deputy Director, Planning & Development, Port of San Francisco

Bio:
Byron A. Rhett, a former 21-year veteran of the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency, is the Deputy Director of Planning & Development for the Port of San Francisco.

Mr. Rhett is responsible for overseeing all planning and development activities at the Port including the implementation of large scale, mixed-use commercial, recreational and industrial projects. He manages implementation of the Port's estimated $1 billion waterfront projects including Piers 30-32, restoration of the historic Ferry Building, and a proposed recreational facility at Piers 27-31 to name a few.

Topic

Mr. Rhett will be presenting the overall Master Plan of the 7.5 mile stretch of San Francisco's waterfront. Mr. Rhett will discuss projects that are being considered at Piers 30-32 and Pier 70, and potential opportunities for AEC firms.
